Imposter Service Dogs pose a real threat...

Society has reached a new low here in my opinion. People are wanting to take their untrained pets and pass them off as service dogs into businesses and it is posing a real threat to legitimate service animals. The difference here is that all people receive emotional support from their pets but that does not qualify that pet as a service animal. ESA or an emotional support animal is not the same as a service dog. Service dogs have undergone very rigorous training and provide people with disabilites the freedom to live a more independant life. Anybody can buy one of these fake vests on-line and pose their pet a service animal. Think about it, would you park in a handicapped spot if you weren't handicapped. We need to devise legislation in this area to protect service dogs and their handlers.
