Foxtails are here! Beware!

Spring is here and that means more pets outside enjoying the outdoors so beware of the dry long grass/weeds in our area. These are foxtails pictured here and they pose a real danger to pets. If you see an area with foxtails, avoid letting your pet walk or run near it. Foxtails can get into any orofice (nose, eye, oral cavity, vulva and penis) and even make their own migratory path in between the toes or on the skin anywhere. If you see these deadly weeds on your pet remove them immediately.
